Going Public

For the past ten years (or more), I’ve kept a journal of what I cook and eat.  I use a lovely leather looseleaf binder someone gave me years ago.  Once I was asked why I used such a nice binder for recipes and such.  Easy answer: because my life is food-centric, and my thoughts about my favorite thing deserve it.

I keep track of what I try, what works, what doesn’t.  I also write about who I share my meals with.  I refer back to past meals and recipes more than I would expect.

I’m going to take my journal public and try blogging.  I’ve thought about doing this for a while now so my family and friends can see what I’m up to.  There’s no time like the present.  So, here it is: A Plateful of Happiness, my blog about my own kitchen experiments.

Bon Appetit!
